What should I expect?
We want this time to not only be a respite from the day to day, but also to be an intentional time with the Lord and to be encouraged by your brothers. With that, when you arrive, you will be asked to pick up an outline, a gift of the psalms, and a notebook to journal in for the weekend. Our hope is that you can find freedom in the redeeming work of Christ Jesus and engage each other in rich conversation. Past that, we want to provide a space for you to relax, rest, read, sleep, fish, shoot, run, hangout, sit by the fire…whatever would be good for you to find rest and commune with the Lord amongst your brothers.
Where are we headed?
KHESED RANCH – 329 FM 155 HALLETTSVILLE, TX 77964
Right outside of Columbus, TX, Khesed Ranch was built as a place of rest, restoration, and remembrance. "Loyal Love, Lovingkindness", one of the most common words used in the Bible, especially in the Book of Psalms, is the word “khesed”, most often translated as "lovingkindness."
SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS
I-10W to Columbus, South on Hwy 71, West on Hwy 90A, when you get to the waterpark in Sheridan you are 3.2 miles from their barn gate. Turn right on Hwy 155 and enter the first gate on your right. It's a maroon pipe gate. There is an access code at the gate. We'll provide this to those that are attending.
Carpooling is encouraged. Call or text either Long Ngo or Dan Hart if you're interested. They will get a list together and pair people up if needed.

What should I bring?
WE WILL HAVE THE FOOD COVERED.
BED & ROOM ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ARRANGED PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL, OR YOU CAN BRING A TENT AND CAMP OUT BY THE POND. PLEASE REACH OUT WITH ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS.
If you have special food or drink you’d like to bring, feel free to bring whatever you’d like. We ask that no alcoholic beverages be brought to the ranch. Definitely bring:
• A Pillow, Sheet and Blanket or Sleeping Bag (cots, couches, and beds will be available and assigned before your arrival as mentioned above)
• A towel for showering
• Tooth brush, tooth paste & any other toiletries
• Fishing gear & tackle (lots of great fishing opportunities)
• Fishing license is required if you are going to fish
• Shotguns & Ammo for Skeet Shooting - We take safety very seriously with shotguns. There is a shooting range area overlooking a pond about a 1/2 mile from the home that we will utilize for skeet shooting. We will provide the targets. We understand that not everyone is comfortable with or around firearms. Be sensitive to your brothers and keep this in mind. No other firearms permitted - shotguns only.
• Ear plugs for shooting (required), and for sleeping (if desired)
• A tent - bring a tent if you prefer to camp.
• An ATV if you’d like to drive around the 1000+ acre ranch. The ranch will provide one utility vehicle to casually drive around the property.
• A pair of boots or outdoor shoes to get muddy
• Bible, pen, and something to write in
